New E-mail Security From eCert Helps Protect Largest Collection Of Electronic Greetings On The Web

August 25, 2010 – San Francisco, Calif. – E-mail security leader, eCert, today announced it would provide fraud protection to recipients of e-cards from e-greetings sites AmericanGreetings.com, BlueMountain.com and Egreetings.com, run by AG Interactive, Inc., a subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation.

With the new security in place, e-card members can now more confidently send and receive e-cards without worries of possible viruses, malware or fraudulent email coming to them or their friends and loved ones.

The recently launched eCert E-mail Domain eCertification™ service prevents fraudulent online communications from reaching a user’s inbox, as well as providing data on e-mail traffic activity and phishing attack alerts to companies like AG Interactive, better enabling them to prevent e-mail fraud.
