(www.ecertsystems.com) has bolstered its executive team by hiring Henry Rodriguez III as Senior VP of Technology and Engineering, and Hilda Fontana as VP of Technology. Both will continue to enhance eCert’s email trust authority service, the only live service that detects, diagnoses and reduces phishing attacks and other forms of email fraud. With more than 30 years of experience in the security, technology and communications industry, Henry “Ric” Rodriguez III has held senior technology executive roles including COO, CTO, CIO, Chief Architect and SVP Products. His executive service with several public companies includes Novell, Seagate, Raindance Communications and Webroot Software. While at Webroot, Rodriguez led the product technology and development of the award-winning security software programs “Spy Sweeper” and “Window Washer.” Rodriguez’s innate ability to create and assemble teams for delivering world class, enterprise and consumer products and services crosses various technology markets: Internet, enterprise applications, telecommunications, networking and security. Rodriguez has been successful in both startups and public companies and is a leader in Agile Development methodologies. Most recently, Rodriguez led development on a VA-based project for the U.S. Department of Defense. He presently holds clearance. Hilda Fontana brings over twenty years of messaging, critical infrastructure and standards experience to eCert. Prior to eCert, Fontana was Head of Special Projects at the Oprah Winfrey Network, including the re-development of Oprah.com and the launch of community tools for the OWN network of sites. With extensive experience in financial services technology, she previously led technology development as VP of Equity Technology at Lehman Brothers for over a decade.
