Wanser was honored with Info Security Products Guide's 2011 Global Excellence Award for Best Woman Executive in Security in San Francisco, in recognition of her efforts to restore safety to online communications. As CEO of eCert, Wanser drives development for eCert's suite of email security solutions and was responsible for launching the technology as the first of its kind in live operation last year to protect the email security traffic of financial institutions and major brands and their customers.
